Been down for a couple of hours. Service and broadband lights are still off.
What could be the issue?

Radio silence from that pink company even though so many people in this area have been reporting the same thing.

Edit: Got updates from another ISP at least.

Morning. Yeah we saw a dip across the vuma NNI last night. No response on our enquiry to NOC.

Nearing the 24 hour mark and still nothing.

I've asked the team to follow up again here
 
There’s been some good push on ZANOG to get some momentum here and I believe this has helped wake up the manager(s) of the MTN whitelist.

Were there any discussions or updates on these issues at the recent ZANOG iWeek annual conference, perhaps?
 
seeing major peering issues between my 3x WebSquad sites and Liquid Telecom. Any known issues?

EDIT: Update from Liquid:
2*100G links and 3*10 links are down under JHB metro are down in our core network which is causing network congestion and impacting internet services. Team is currently working on site for restoration. More updates will be followed.

fella, i've just had the weirdest interaction with your service agent. not sure if it's just the limitations of text and mail, but i'm struggling to understand if you want to keep me as a customer or not. benefit of doubt being applied but i'd appreciate it if you could look at that ticket and let me know what's up.

As far as I know, all our prefixes are accepted. Let me know if you're struggling with your ip (PM me).. I sadly couldn't make it to iWeek this year. But I know there were other matters on the agenda.
 
Anyone else down on octotel this morning?
Southern Subs, CPT, looks like they had some maintenance last night.
Went down about 2:20am.

Now that the speeds increased, I just got my April invoice for R959.

Surely that's not right. That's the normal price for 150 mbps on your site, but on my invoice it's R1146 minus some discount, plus VAT to get to R959.

Must I log a ticket or phone tomorrow?

Morning, I've checked on this. It seems the promo codes didn't apply correctly after the base package changes. The team is already working on this and will send updated invoicing.
