Web sQuad ISP - Feedback Thread #2

We are seeing the same, the issue is the fix requires slightly lower traffic volumes to remain non-impacting, and hands on a teraco, as this is the result of an errored port bundle (one of the bundle ports is throwing errors). Our team is planning on a fix later this evening.

Evening all. Apologies for the late update. There was a short issue just after 8 this evening affecting a large number of peers on NAP. It seems a peer leaked some routes to the peering route servers, which in turn caused some issues as traffic flooded throughout the exchange. It was quickly resolved, but things took a little while to stabilise.

unrelated to the above, we suspect to have isolated the cause of the small amount of loss, and a fix is in the works
Just a Random question, is this a "us" issue, or a " them" issue ( as in who we connecting to?)

Update: Fix has been implemented and we’re seeing errors on the port bundle cleared away now. We’re monitoring closely to ensure everything is working as it should. Thanks for your patience and support
 
cant explain the why, but if i vpn via my office ( vodacom) , even though the ping is higher, there is no rubber banding

It's been almost 3 weeks, I'll take the silence as everything has been resolved. Apologies for not following up here sooner. Update from our side, we're seeing much healthier performance on the network and affected devices since the changes were made.

Anyone having issues with Netflix? Getting 670kbps from Fast.com and can't stream. Everything else seems fine. Getting full line speed on all other speed tests.

Still seeing this issue? Not seeing any issues with Netflix traffic volumes across IX and peering caches
