Web sQuad ISP - Feedback Thread #2

Hi, I think it's worth mentioning; I logged the ticket for the minor ~30min outage, when closing the ticket, the support engineer acknowledged that the issue was on their end. In comparison to the more "popular" ISPs , the support engineers are not even aware of the issues, and usually rattle off 101 generic troubleshooting steps for the customer to perform before actually investigating themselves. thank you websquad, I hope you continue with this level of support.

Morning all, this should be resolved now.

It looks like a small change early this morning led to the IP pool you all share not being accepted correctly. Vumatel advertise the IP allocations we provide them back to us, using a protocol called BGP. This means that for every region on Vuma's trenched network, there is a subnet allocated, eg. 10.0.0.1/24, and we need to learn this from them, and ensure it's routable. Unfortunately your area's prefix wasn't correctly installed on our end after some changes on our side. Thank you for your patience and understanding here.

@websquadza are there gremlins in the network or is one of the CDNs having issues again? Everything is sooooo slow today, taking like 2 minutes to open a channel in slack, X takes like 5 minutes to load, etc
