Thanks this is using their own speedtest -Which site is that and server are you testing to? I can see what I get if you want.
Still waiting on your re-provision. The guys did say on the ticket that this is a headache with Vuma and a lot more effort than it should be.
For what it’s worth. My results on 500/200 Vuma Arial Wilgeheuwel.
Noted.Still waiting on your re-provision. The guys did say on the ticket that this is a headache with Vuma and a lot more effort than it should be.
This Speedtest server isn’t “websquad’s” server. It’s hosted on a 3rd party platform (digital ocean). We use it as a litmus test but it’s not on net and we have no control over it; we use it because it’s not locally peered (as opposed to vms on Azure and AWS). That said; tests on our side are showing that this is running at about 50% of other tests like Coreix’s London speedtest server (which is also not locally peered).
Let the guys follow up with VUMA on your reprovision- your line has had multiple issues in the past affecting performance; thereafter we can push a little further. Also of note, our accelerator is currently offline with no ETR on bringing it back up (we are re-deploying it into our core to a different place on the network). This won’t affect anyone except clients with line issues / FNO issues (such as you’re experiencing now).
Completely respectable. You are getting just about what you are paying for.For what it’s worth. My results on 500/200 Vuma Arial Wilgeheuwel.
We have reached out to Apple's peering team. Not much in terms of positive feedback at this point. But will follow upIs there no way to cache Apple content? Even Apple Music is useless tonight.
Seeing very slow speeds to a specific international server. This is where I get all my "news" from if you know what I mean. Also getting slow SpeedTest results on international (Netherlands) Something you can do?

EDIT: Tried some Amsterdam servers and most don't even start the SpeedTest.
Seeing high packet loss and those latencies! Been monitoring from this end and seems to have cleared up. Please can you check and confirm? I think this may have been related to the cable breaks, Both our JHB vendors have Equiano capacity, but some tuning may have been required here.
As per our chat, the issue also exists on other PPPOE credentials, which means this is an Openserve issue. Our team is working with Openserve to address this further. Can anyone suggest me what my next step should be??? Been struggling for about more than a month now with Gaming lag issues on websquad only. Websquad has been changing a couple of stuff but they seems unable to locate the issue. when I use another isp account everything works 100%. I'm at this point where I don't know if we will ever be able to sort this problem out.
So someone please tell me what to do!!!!
Thanks. Back to normal.Seeing high packet loss and those latencies! Been monitoring from this end and seems to have cleared up. Please can you check and confirm? This has been going on for a month. So give me one reason why I should stay with websquad and not move to another isp that works. As per our chat, the issue also exists on other PPPOE credentials, which means this is an Openserve issue. Our team is working with Openserve to address this further.

As per the above, the issues are largely related to the multiple undersea breaks. I will provide an update to the extent of these shortly.Wacs and Sat3 down everything is a bit bottled atm
