Looks like it might have been something localised. I've checked and we have sessions that are north of 29 days in Randburg and surrounds.

Yeah multiple neighbours were affected,it went down twice for a significant time

Thanks, checking on this to see what could be causing it. Seems to be IGP updates, but shouldn't be an issue.

IPv6 stopped working again. This time the router at least acknowledge that it does not know what to do with the packet:

Update: One of our core devices locked up off a bgp update from our edge. Our team has resolved the issue, and investigating what caused the CE to hang.

back online, fact that the CE froze up and didn't die meant that traffic didn't really move to the second device. We're looking into why this happened.
