Nah sorry, just left the last time they went down.

Will monitor tomorrow and share if it happens again.
Seeing reports on ZANOG that there was a route leak at NAP which seems to have influenced a few networks this afternoon. Issue was quickly resolved. There were also reports of routing issues out of Seacom to a number of networks around this time. Not sure if the issues were related yet.

Yeah. Seacom problem it seems. Currently being routed through CPT and then the UK to get to Singapore. Painfull!!!
Any chance you can PM me a reverse trace from your Seacom IPs to any of your JHB offices? Just want to check something.

also what is 160.119.224.133 hop 4?

We're going to make a few changes to routing shortly to get around this Seacom issue.

.224.133 is a Vuma side router. There is ICMP rate limiting on this box, and that's nothing to be concerned about.
I am concerned about what we're seeing with regards to losses before that though. Shouldn't be seeing any loss to hop 2 and 3. Let's get seacom out the way, then we can look at this.

Apparently my robot vacuum achived this level of destruction, proving that if something can go wrong it will.

R 1350 for Vuma to repair according to support :X3:

Sitting on LTE that has a max speed of like dial up right now

We're seeing Vuma trenched services down across JHB, looks to be a fault Vuma side, as we can't reach their end of our BGP links. We're investigating and have logged a ticket with Vuma
