JHB Update: Our teams are currently completing the investigations into Friday and Saturday afternoon's issues, as well as running extensive tests and attempting to reproduce the issue in a lab environment to make sure it doesn't happen again. We will report back as soon as all these investigations and tests are complete.

That IP on the 5th hop tells me you were dropped into a separate routing table (VRF) for a moment there. Digging a little to see how/why this happened. I see your PPP session has been stable (a few weeks uptime), so it's not a duplicate dial (which could usually cause this as your second dial would be a walled garden). Will let you know what I find.

Total loss of connectivity on my side, appears to be a Vumatel/Area issue as multiple complexes in my area are experiencing the same issue on different ISP's.

I really hope it's not cabletheft again.

Have gone ahead and logged a support ticket @websquadza

Thanks, will ask the team to look into this.

My Youtube is struggling to run at 240p, what on earth?! Why are there daily problems
No issues our side. Pulling 4k on my Vuma line at home. Can you check for any obvious packet loss on your line?

It resolved itself after 10 minutes but the issue was significant to the point where the internet was unusable at all

We've checked all logs; still monitoring the network very closely - no issues this evening. Especially for a service like Youtube; it takes a major issue to make it load badly at a network level as it's locally peered, accelerated and the service itself is incredibly resilient- which would affect the entire network. As I said, likely last mile this evening. If you can catch a MTR if it happens again, it would help.

It wasn't just Youtube, Speedtest was 1 meg speed locally and websites weren't loading

Most likely a last mile issue, as I mentioned before- an MTR would have helped you pick this up. We've been 100% transparent these past few days and will not be changing tack with regards to our network now - it's been clean this evening..

Evening All. We're testing some small changes to our internal routing policies (specifically for JHB). We apologise in advance for any traffic changes while we test these polices. These tests will last a few minutes at most.
