You didn't happen to get an MTR? our logs show occasional packet loss on Vuma's side, but no drops across PKL 1 and 2.
Nope, haven't had power going on 26 hours so just observed connection issues on the mac over wi-fi with YouTube and VPN disconnecting. The monitoring stuff is running on my desktop :(

Plumstead Vumatel again, power is back but still no internet.

Even us in gauteng, the last 10 minutes it’s been on and off

@websquadza any insight in to when Vumatel will resolve the power issues in Plumstead?

Connection keeps dropping during loadshedding…

Getting very little feedback with regards to POP power issues. That said, we do keep following up with our SDM.

After CISP, I tested Afrihost's client service. I had a small issue, was put on hold, and eventually I hung up because I couldn't wait any longer. No one phoned me back, but they actually had the audacity to send me an SMS the very next day to rate their service. What service? I wasn't helped with anything
Haha AfriHost customer service is rubbish.

Vuma have issued a major outage NWI for CPT just a few minutes ago. Teams are investigating. No ETR or details provided yet.

Edit: NWI updated for Welgelegen 1, 2 & 3 areas
Edit 2: NWI marked as resolved

Please submit a ticket if you are still down on Vuma trenched in CPT

Hope this power issue is resolved. As though Load shedding isn't a big enough slap in the face. Let me know if these carries on. Vuma NOC say they've resolved all issues on PKL 1. There were routing loops creating high CPU utilisation on some of the devices - now to test and make sure that at least that portion is resolved. Next up is your SFP replacement.

@websquadza I am now DONE!

Ticket #639831

What is going on with this ticket. It was opened on the 16th of January, and we are about to enter March!

I am tired of hearing Vumatel is closing the tickets, I pay you! You guys should be managing this vendor!
Just an update here, we're apparently waiting for a spare fibre to be mapped from the POP to your complex. The theory is that the current port, which is split at your MDU, is congested (which would make sense). Coupled with your low light, it's a formula for disaster.

Go to bed; no power. Wake up; no power. I have no words anymore. Power is back, so will plug in the mik again. Having a solar system installed sometime in the next few weeks. I'm counting the seconds at this point...

Appreciate this, to add to this I recieved a call yesterday from your support desk.
Was a first though, so I assume this is due to your intervention, thank you.
