@websquadza
A bit of a weird request but is there anything you can do to get MTN voice over WiFi working on your network?
MTN have recently been mass rolling out the service to Android users but it doesn't seem to work on all ISP's such as yourself. I'm currently on friends cellc WiFi and I can connect to MTN and CellC voice over WiFi simultaneously on my dual SIM phone.
When I'm home on my websquad wifi, only the cellc VoWifi works but I can't connect to MTN VoWifi.
One of the other forum users has said we need to wait for MTN to allow it for various ISP's but I thought I'd try my luck in case you have a contact or way to expedite the process with MTN.

Missed this one. Not a weird request at all. I've dropped MTN NOC an email about this. I'd imagine it would be open to anyone peering with MTN (They're a selective peer and don't peer openly, so once you go through the effort, the paths between networks are pretty short). I know that Vodacom voWIFI isn't an issue, and as you mentioned CellC does too. I'd imagine it's something MTN are controlling on their end - so let's hope our email works.

@websquadza - Huge thanks to your team and Octotel, logged a fault with you early on Wednesday and Octotel were here by 3pm the same day, and even did a repair despite the line having come back up in that time, and got things running 100% again!

I'm sure you're all under so much pressure with so many people relying on stable internet at the moment, very much appreciated!

@websquadza My PPPoE connection is failing with authentication errors. I am unable to log a ticket as the ticketing system is broken as well when accessed from my.websquad.co.za the session is not carried forward to the ticketing system.

PON light red or alarm on your ONU? No issues on radius auth this side. Will address this on your ticket- but sounds like an outage.

Are you trying to access my.websquad.co.za from a Telkom mobile?

@websquadza Yes i was accessing from telkom mobile. Thanks for attending to this issue and getting me back up and running.

@websquadza
Seeing some weird routing, why would the below have high latency from my websquad link but from a neotel link its fine?

Prefix isn't being advertised by Cipherwave iConnect to NAP or any peering point for that matter.

Will reach out to Cipherwave iConnect NOC to see why. Cipherwave are the iConnect upstream.

Edit: IP belongs to iConnect. Reaching out to their NOC to see why they aren't advertising their prefixes.

Good evening, something is really broken tonight, getting 4 Megs Local Speedtest and 1 Meg International + 25% - 30% packet loss in Modern Warfare. On a direct cable, nothing downloading in the house and rebooted the router, same results:

Hmmm, could be specific to you/your area maybe.

@websquadza - any idea who's responsible for the local Twitch clips caches? I'm getting these errors pretty often recently:

Code:
Error 503 Backend unavailable, connection timeout
Backend unavailable, connection timeout

Guru Mediation:
Details: cache-jnb7025-JNB 1597993726 1198853753

Varnish cache server

As far as I know, it's AWS. But if you have an IP, I can track it down?

No set IP, but they're all served from clips.twitch.tv which seems to serve from a local mirror and/or load balancer somewhere?
