No set IP, but they're all served from clips.twitch.tv which seems to serve from a local mirror and/or load balancer somewhere?
If it helps - actual clip video data seems to be pulled from clips-media-assets2.twitch.tv (server-13-35-58-207.jnb50.r.cloudfront.net) in my case

Any issues in Johannesburg North? Getting really slow speeds and tons of jitter.

1gb up/ 100mb down, Vumatel trenched, Gallo Manor area

And now seems to have recovered. Was definitely acting up for at least 30 minutes that I was aware of.

Could be, but last time this happened it was actually Google services/servers not gelling well with Web Squad. This was rectified last time and was buttery smooth afterwards. And the reason I say that is because my friends on other ISPs are just fine, no rubber banding etc.

Web Squad, please could you check what is going with the COD Modern Warfare stuttering and rubber banding, it is like a slide show and my other friends are not affected on other ISPs in Johannesburg....

Nah, there is definitely something going on. I also play COD, but my issues are not just there, I also have had random disconnects on PSN and also on video calls since yesterday. Happening again this morning.

Hm,I've only had one drop today on Steam but suspect thats my dying motherboard

Mostly Bnet stuff acting up?

Apologies for my radio silence these past two days. Working on a project in the Western Cape and haven’t been as active as I’d like on the thread.

Looking into the COD issue. Do you have a server IP I can trace to? Used to be Optinet servers and the previous issue was related to congestion on their JINX port. We resolved that by dropping their route to us via JINX.

Oi... Wtf is going on now...
Haven't played in ages decide to play a bit and connection issues?

Still seeing battle.net issues?

Still seeing this? No issues on the network that we can see - all usual probes are showing no problems. What service you using for video calls?

Haven’t yet noticed anything out of the ordinary today.
The last few days however there were some connection drops and intermittent (brief) periods where the internet was completely dead. I noticed it most on Zoom and Teams calls, but also with browsing and emails.

I checked my cables and router as I didn’t see any notices posted, but everything is fine there. It’s strange because the issues don’t last long enough to really diagnose.

FNO and area? Sounds more like something local or a line issue. Try run a MTR in the background to a local service like 8.8.8.8 during your workday tomorrow. If you experience a drop out, send us a ticket with the results from the test.

Hi @websquadza

Could you possibly please help with friend's move to you.

He was previously active on a openserve line, his house's roof caved in and in turn caused the fiber between the street and his CPE to be destroyed, before he can get online with you Openserve need to pull in new cable, the order has been in since the 14 AUG and this physical cable requirement seems to have caused a stall on the order.

Can you kindly have a look for me Order # 4129198762

Thanks

@websquadza
just two quick questions
1. do you offer the option to pay via EFT instead of debit order?
2. why are your openserve speeds not like other ISPs? e.g. 40/20 is now 50/25 at other ISPs?

Hi- yes, we offer EFT as a payment option (request this on order) and to answer question 2, all Openserve line profiles have been updated accordingly (including 50/25). Correspondence about these upgrades was pretty poor from Openserve, so our website hasn’t been updated yet (I believe this should be sorted this week).
