Hi guys, the COD stuttering and rubber banding persists still into this week. I don't have an IP address unfortunately for the SA servers but something is seriously not ok

Picking up on a lot of jitter on Optinet's one NAP IP (they have 2) which seems to translate into jitter through to the server - so it could be saturation on their on NAP port.

We've dropped the peering session to this NAP port and already seeing less jitter on that final hop. Let me know if this makes a difference in game?

Hi- yes, we offer EFT as a payment option (request this on order) and to answer question 2, all Openserve line profiles have been updated accordingly (including 50/25). Correspondence about these upgrades was pretty poor from Openserve, so our website hasn’t been updated yet (I believe this should be sorted this week).
thanks for the response. at this point im willing to pay more for just minimal levels of service. will wait for you to update your website regarding speeds before placing my order.

Aaaaaaaaand it's gone. Guess you were fiddling with something?

Looks like Octotel were fiddling. Second hop is the L2 leg between your router and our BNG. Well at least it’s sorted now. IPOE holding up well?

Still getting bursts of PL, but not as bad as earlier. Hopefully they're resolving it.

IPOE still internet nirvana :)

Will do and try that router indeed. Tonight it is very bad, I can't play a match of Warzone without rubber banding all over the place, unplayable.

We've dropped the peering session to this NAP port and already seeing less jitter on that final hop. Let me know if this makes a difference in game?

Unfortunately not better, pretty bad tonight still. I will try a few Multiplayer matches now to see if it's also bad there vs. Warzone as they are doing the Warzone event and it could be their servers tonight specifically. Otherwise will try the MT router and see if that makes a difference

Going to try one thing this end - change will be implemented in the next 5 mins. Let me know if you see any improvement?

Change made - testing a little change on inbound (basically a/b testing)

So I've tested, it's now playable so I would say better but still some jittering here and there in multiplayer, not showing packet loss which is weird but definite stuttering and slight rubber banding in the Johannesburg server, latency good at 15ms - 17ms

Still on the Tenda router? Thing is there definitely wasn't any packet loss - just massive jitter once we hit optinet's (Mweb's) network. Network wise things look clean as a whistle - so I'm erring towards server issues. But you say it's not present elsewhere? I can also try re-enable JINX (we took this down in May due to congestion on Optinet's ports there) and see if that helps?

Went on for about half an hour or so and then disappeared, back to awesome :giggle:

Still on the Tenda yup, haven't tried the MT yet. My friends don't seem to have any issues with other ISPs so not sure. I guess it's work a try regarding JINX, not sure
