What FNO and server are you trying to connect to?
I believe he's talking about the alternate routing to EU that's currently in place. Latencies are significantly higher across the board, and performance isn't quite normal.
 
Any other Apex Legends players noticed that pretty much all servers are at latencies of 200ms or more recently? I don't know if it's a server infrastructure change or WS EU routing but it's hugely frustrating.

After every new season update this stuff happens, i connect to London one game its 150ms then suddenly next game its 240... EA server infrastructure is beyond trash...

EA and AWS both honestly, their routes give so many issues and often don't factor latency into it.

Seems worse than ever this season. In the past the servers were trash, sometimes rubber banding or having huge lag spikes, but latency was always normal. Now I see a sub 170ms ping maybe twice in ten games. Clearly too busy counting their money over there to optimise the servers.

Yea i am with Cool Ideas played for about 3 hours now and server performance was terrible, worst its been in a very long time...

If you check the Steam stats the peak players just on Steam went up something like 65k so the servers are just melting.
 
Played a few hours yesterday and it seemed much improved. Either lower demand on Sunday or Respawn are actually responding to the situation.
 
I spent a few minutes tweaking MTU & MSS clamping on my USG. Ran some speedtests after each change but couldn't really tell if my changes made impact or if the speedtest servers were just returning variable results.

Settled at MTU or 1480 and MSS clamping of 1412.

Have also got my fastest test results with this config (for some reason the Web Squad speedtest server doesn't show up in app but shows up in the CLI app):

Looks like Vumatel is down in North Riding, or at least my complex. LOS is flashing.

I tried to log a ticket on the client portal using my mobile - but something is going whack, it goes in a loop of asking me to log in.

General Vuma Aerial outage affecting various areas in Randburg and Roodepoort this morning (North Riding Pop went down), resolved by 07:51 am.

Mobile on Telkom Mobile by any chance?
