Just a headsup. Unusable the whole evening. Keeps dropping. Not going to try and plot it. Same issue. Back on Vodacom.

Edit: @websquadza
Yeah it's been rough tonight... Been seeing 5% packet loss for most of it

Little feedback from Vuma other than they are investigating. Will keep pushing here.

It's calmed down for the most part now, only seeing little sporadic bursts every now and again to 1 or 2 hosts. Guess people have gone to bed so less strain on whatever is faulty

And I am being disconnected now during MS Teams calls for work meetings..... Seriously what is going on over the past week?

Replied. Getting the loss again across the board.

We've isolated the issue to a fault on a handover VLAN between Vumatel and us. Vumatel is investigating. Just saw a drop on one of their BGP sessions. We have pushed back for urgency and a resolution.

Confirmed the issue is related to one of the two Vuma handover VLANs. We are going to try move affected areas to the second, unaffected VLAN shortly.

Try typing in an IP like 8.8.8.8- remember we're just trying to see where your connection is dying so we can escalate accordingly. You're not connected to parklands 1, so knowing where you're going down will help.

Vuma's fix from earlier this week was more a workaround than a fix. They are still working on the issue in the background. We are keeping in touch with their NOC in this regard. Seeing improvements- but still every now and again, there's an issue.

Apologies for the delayed reponse. Still an issue? If not, how long does it last? Does rebooting tiur router and device help?
I just rebooted my router and changed the DNS to the default ones (instead of Cloudflare).

Right now, it seems to be working. Just this morning the issue was happening, and only using a VPN fixed it
