Local appears to be ok - anything international is not.
Can you check on this again? I suspect a DNS issue. Our team made some changes.

Yep my fibre has just gone for a ball of twang as well. Showed DNS server non address. Tried restarting ONT and router, now ONT not showing green light for active line

Vumatel aerial

Please try a reboot, I suspect the DNS issue affected you too.

Also Vuma Aerial. It kakked itself and came back.
Speedtest is horrible though.
As long as there is some level of connectivity I'm not complaining

Line flapping. Vuma Aerial Wilgeheuwel.

Edit: Seems to be area/ Vuma related. Many people on various ISP’s complaining.

Internet wonky again now, websites won't load, i.e. my Sunsynk solar portal, latency jumping all over the place, some sites won't load, local pint goes from 26 to 199 and down again. Logging a call, seems like daily issues now

Same, Cape Town thing it seems

Also experiencing issues, internet connectivity is a total disaster these days.

Seems it's Vumatel related since others in the neighbourhood are raising issues as well.

@websquadza - I usually close the tickets when the connection goes up again, but I'd appreciate if you could raise the ongoing issues with Vumatel.

We had issues on Sunday, now again today.

This is after approx. 3 years with minimal issues...

I wonder what these weird 2 hour blocks of no connectivity is caused by ;)
But on a more serious note, I've definitely noticed some issues on the first hop, a range of 4ms to 106ms could be a flakey switch?

Please can I ask you to submit this on a ticket? I'll make sure it gets escalated accordingly

Also having intermittent issues. What app can I use to continuously monitor other than smokeping? Windows or linux suggestions please. And anything that can help @websquadza to resolve these issues..

JHB - Vumatel are migrating some services from one NNI to their new NNI at the moment. This should only affect Vuma Villages (you will see a short drop while your ONT re-provisions). Reboot the ONT if the connection takes longer than 15 mins to restore.
