Web Squad ISP

Not aware of anything Google related or issues their side yet. GGCs are still offline. Testing this side no issues loading videos on iOS app and Apple TV. Could be a platform specific or local loss issue? Have you checked for packet loss?

Can you please share source IPs for these downloads or something we can test on this side (eg. How to replicate this issue)? Any PL as well? Would prefer not to conflate separate issues. At this point all that's common is Vuma and PKL1.

Thanks let me take a look

Hmm Fastly CDN - these guys are fun to engage with, wierd peering policy.. So we pick them up on NAP routeservers. Is this the source IP for the download or a general IP? By the looks of it, this is local. Even a bad line should still be able to get more than 200Kbps. Can I spin you up a VM in Isando and you can confirm the issue persists there?

Sure

Missed this one. Not a weird request at all. I've dropped MTN NOC an email about this. I'd imagine it would be open to anyone peering with MTN (They're a selective peer and don't peer openly, so once you go through the effort, the paths between networks are pretty short). I know that Vodacom voWIFI isn't an issue, and as you mentioned CellC does too. I'd imagine it's something MTN are controlling on their end - so let's hope our email works.
@websquadza Is VoWiFi on MTN working with Websquad now?

Not a WebSquad issue but Vumatel in Randpark Ridge is down at the moment. Fibre lamp on the ONT is not lit... Anyone else in the area?

We are down in Boksburg, vumatel trenched

Was felt in springs as well, internet shedding?

Haven’t been able to test myself, but a number of our prefixes have already been accepted and loaded into MTN's geo firewall
MTN voWifi is still not working for me. I would be very grateful if someone can push this as I have zero reception during loadshedding.

Just dropped few minutes ago in Fourways on Openserve, anybody else?
