webafrica authenication issue

Openweb does have "prepaid" and top up on their new system, but i moved to Webafrica cause i was having probs with the Openweb payment system.

Well the OpenWeb site looks like horse dung, one of the reasons I'm sticking with WA but if my international doesn't authenticate soon then its buh bye WA.

funny...i had the same thing, i haven't officially moved from Openweb to WA...i only got the 30GB IS account because there is a dispute between Standard Bank Mastercard and Nedbank, which fails all transactions....having gotten my ADSL again after 2 months of waiting for Telkom, on friday i was desperate for sum interwebbing..and now i cant do squat! *NARF*

this is BS i'm gonna move all my axx to openweb  :(

I'm moving to Openweb, this was the final straw!

Whole day i don't have International!

Are you guys for real? Seriously?

Kiepie, you may be my friend, but you are missing the point today bro.

It's one day with problems, that's it. You can't throw away days of everything working fine, just because of one day?

Catch a wake up chinas, this is the big world ;)

yup, thats why i moved, same issue.

Our apologies for any inconvenience being caused by this downtime, we are currently experiencing an issue with our database which is causing sporadic authentication and are working on resolving the issue. We hope to have everything fixed up shortly.

i managed to connect with my SAIX pre-paid account by chance...thing is once you connected you stay connected, so better NOT logoff...still cant connect with IS account, but at least i have proper internet access until the issue is totally resolved :D

Eish I made that mistake but that's because no international sites were loading. :(

Both WA pre-paid and 30GB local accounts not working. Telkom account is atleast working.

Relieved to see that I can't connect to WA because of a problem on their side and not because I ran out of MB :D

Hi guys,

We are experiencing intermittent issues currently. We are working diligently to resolve everything and should have everything sorted shortly.

Thank you for your patience. We will post the progress as we proceed.

Tera I'm not busy with browsing and playing games. Also have a business to run and also need to have live streaming of the waves & warrants I'm playing. Could not access sharenet or cnbc today, because of that.

At the end of the day, that downtime is not just inconvience to everyone and me but it costed me money. :( :(

Seriously, I can't have stuff like this happening...

Dude, I get what you're saying. But if it wasn't WA, it would have been telkom. I get disconnected at least 4 times every week, my PPPoE connection just dies, for hours on end.

It might be a good time to invest in a backup connection if you need an internet connection so bad, why not opt for a Vodacom or MTN package?

Either way, do as you please bro, I just can't see the justification you see ;)

Had a similiar issue with SAOL, on Saturday only have the same issue on webafrica after buying 1 gig, it seems to be f**ed, probably a telkom problem...??????
