Change your DNS to:

The WA/IS DNS servers are completely dead now.
I wouldn't know. Why do people use their ISP dns servers?
Because they are generally faster?I wouldn't know. Why do people use their ISP dns servers?

Is anyone else getting INSANELY slow speed on WA home capped accounts? Ubuntu 14.10 torrent is downloading at an average of 100KB/s. Oddly, if I download another torrent, both drop to about 50KB/s.
This sucks.

All these complaints... Make anxious as I ordered the 1000GB package for our business as I was hoping WA is more reliable than AF

You took Home or Business capped?
Overall the service isn't too bad. Granted, torrent isn't exactly part of their core user's experience, but it still annoys me that I'm not getting the usual service, and definitely what I'm paying for. I can understand the need to throttle bandwidth heavy protocols during normal business hours, but it's a holiday period, and the problem has been there for more than 24 hours.

If you ordered the Business accounts you wont have this problem with P2P or NNTP traffic.
Hi Guys,
Remember that on home capped accounts P2P/NNTP traffic is still deprioritised during business hours (7am-5pm weekdays). Although it's the 'holidays' there are still businesses running as per normal so it's still regarded as business hours and those non-essential protocols will still get deprioritised.
