Hey peeps
I have been having issues with my line the last 3 weeks or so and trying to phone telkom or webafrica seems futile. MY connection speeds are fine through out the day around 700 -800kbps but from 6pm at night it drops to around 90 -100kbps. I am not sure if my exchange has become congested in the last month or if there is something else wrong. Also if i restart my router at night it wont reconnect until around 10pm no matter which isp i use, my line stays up it just wont authenticate on any network.
If iam reading the tracert correctly it dont look like a congested exchange but i might be wrong. What you guys think?

Mind posting a traceroute so we can see where the issue is coming in?Why is it that at 11pm, latency starts to skyrocket and then at 12pm it becomes absolutely unbearable and speeds plummet completely? What is the point in having a 10mb capped account when I feel like I'm being throttled like an uncapped account.
I've been noticing that it consistently starts getting worse the second it ticks over to 11pm and practically shuts down the second it ticks over to 12pm?
I'm so glad that I'm leaving WA at the end of the month, tired of such crap support service and such a crap capped account.

Morning,
It's sad to hear you're struggling with our network and that you're leaving us because of this issueI must say it very bizarre that this is happening from 11pm because there not a lot of traffic at that time. Can you please PM me your account details so I can investigate this issue with our Engineering team?

(Also down from there)
I need help with something. Some of the sites we need to access for work are currently not accessible from my WA account (or any IS-based account for that matter). I sent a ticket last night when it started happening but haven't received any feedback yet.
These sites work from all my other ISP accounts (AH and Telkom).
Sites are www.betonline.ag and www.sportsbetting.ag - they're in the same IP block. Still not working this morning.
Thanks
I recently joined (from the start of this month) WA. Got myself a business capped vdsl package as I have a 20mb line. Is this product shaped and throttled?
At the start of the month everything was maxing out my line. Now for the last 2-3 days youtube and twitch does a range of 600kb/s - 1mb/s. Steam downloads do 600 - 1.3mb/s (but steadily get slower the longer the download goes on for) and p2p, which I only ever do during the D+ times, rarely ever hit 600 kb/s. Yet anytime I do a speedtest I get 2.2mb/s.
Is this normal?
Hi,
That's not normal and it needs to be investigated. Can you please PM me your speed test and trace route results?
It's all fine now. A router reboot fixed it. Running like a bomb.
anyone having problems with some sites not resolving?
