WebAfrica VS. OpenWeb

If all goes according to plan, the answer to the instant credit card activation system will be yes from end April beginning May :)

Hey Mr Beep,

Can you tell us if everything went according to plan seeing as it is the 1st of May?

Hey Guys

Testing is underway :)

We *might* have good news soon!

Hey Mr Beep,

Can you tell us if everything went according to plan seeing as it is the 1st of May?

In case you guys want to use the unshapped accounts for wow here is my 2c. I had a unshapped vanilla account from november to february and my friend had a webafrica account.

My latency stayed between 300-400ms. It was consistent, late at night it would drop to 200-300. My friends latency was better than mine but his wasn't consistent.

wit openweb great prices and instant activation they'l be unstoppable :D

I agree. Both are gud.

BUT Web Africa has 24 HRS Support and that is also in a big way very much needed.

Cheers
BB :)

I’ve been with WebAfrica since 19/08/2005 14:54.

Being an IT service provider myself, I have most of my clients signed up with WebAfrica’s “Pay-as-you-go” subscriptions.

Their Tech support is unsurpassed, and, although not the cheapest, their offerings are just a good bang for your buck.

As with any business, if price was the only motivating factor, then something has to give: Quality or Service, or both…

Peace

Marcellus

I have been with OpenWeb for more than a year and a half now. I have changed my package quite a few times, but have finally settled on an Uncapped account. I am very very happy with them, and their support has always been superb. I have tried many ISPs in the past, including webafrica, but after an incident I had with their debit order system, I said no thank you.
