Yup it's in the right place. Its a reverse flow offset smoker.

For Catching Ash, but I use mine to pee in when I cannot leave the fire at a critical moment, it's kak when you are pissed trying to aim into that thing when you have guests...

Just use your belt to attach it like a codpiece.
