Webmail ups size to 10GB

Hope they can make it worthwhile, righe not the interface and reliability suck.

first prize = gmail to work on local only
second prize = webmail to be able to send mail masked as gmail or with a gmail return address.

I can get gmail to forward to webmail, but I need to send mail from webmail (local only) and then have people reply to it and still have it come back to gmail.

right now I have my WebAfrica set up like that.
 
I've had a real spam problem with webmail. If that can be eradicated then I might consider using them again.

I currently use gmail, and hotmail sparingly.

I just logged into my account and I still only have 20MB :(

What webmail says, and what webmail does are 2 very different things ;)

Maybe they finally got a 10GB server ;) haha.
 
Leave the voip, vid and chat and streamlind the interface! sa's users are mobile so not having a lite wap interface is a no no
 
Cool, I use them and a size increase is always nice. Just create a spam folder and it'll sort out all your spam problems.
 
I still won't go back to them, you get more spam than normal email. The funny thing is that most of the spam comes from them.
 
How exactly will creating a spam folder sort out all the spam problems?
 
What is wrong with webmail? I use it for one of my accounts and have had no problem at all! Linked up with Outlook.
 
Considering it's a freebie it works well! And if you use a browser like Opera you can simply one-click away most of the 'in your face' advertising stuff. Neither does it bother you too often to update your profile. The biggest drawback it faces at the moment, I think, is the huge amount of spam getting through -- do they filter at source at all, or just let it all come?
 
so what is the pop3 and smtp settings for webmail--please incl port and authentication settings; if there is one for FREE then I will use; then then fwd gmail to webmail, receive using email client; no adverts to contend with..right??
 
I hate the spam from webmail too. its crazy, they tell me I have used 300 / 1000 messages but the majority of that is from THEMSELVES. How can they count their own advertisements as part of my collective emails >_< secondly they have this ambition to keep asking me where I bank and what my BEE status is. Regular checking up on me. I make a point to choose a different race and gender everytime they request info :)

Another thing that bugs me a lot, if you are composing an email and perhaps you forgot the email adress to send it to, you cant return to the inbox again, unless you do send an email first. You will have to log off and on again to see your inbox.

Their multiple email account names is also very nice feature. I like supporting these companies but they go overboard when they offer you 10 gigs of space and then put in place a 2mb file extention limit. I don't get that rule at all.

Webmail is a good email site and I am glad they upgraded their service and given it a new look.
