Website developer needed for basic e-commerce site

Besides posting in the funny pix thread and a long-time lurker, I'm unknown on the forum.

I'm a livestock farmer in the Karoo and have developed 3 basic websites using Wordpress, 2 of these are for my stud breeding operation (English and Afrikaans versions). The third is for a related training and knowledge resource product website that has now reached the limits of my very basic skills. All three sites, through various iterations, have been running for more than 15 years already.

I require someone or a small company to redesign this site for me: www.boergoats.co.za Be kind in your criticism :cool: I'm a farmer and did the best I could with the basic skills at my disposal.

What I would like is the following:

  • Sell digital downloads of knowledge resource products currently being sold in physical format and couriered or posted worldwide.
  • Limited duration download links after payment.
  • English and Afrikaans products are offered.
  • Download training and instructional videos after payment.
  • On-line registration, booking and payment for physical training courses.
  • Site must be in English and Afrikaans. Option to select language.
  • There is an existing and operational PayFast account and functionality.
  • Enquiries, responses, ordering and download must be as automated as possible.
  • I must be able to edit text and add content myself once site is live.
  • Web developer must be accessible. I want to be able to talk to a person, not a help desk.
  • Site is currently hosted by 1-Grid.
  • What format do publications need to be in? (e-pub, pdf etc).

I am out on the farm most of the day and normally check my mails and messages around lunchtime and again at night. Cell phone signal is limited to the homestead so I don't have my phone with me all the time. I have very good Wi-Fi reception so connectivity is good.

I wish I had the time available to help @OnePlusOne , I am absolutely fond of agriculture and farming in general.

Maybe I retire and then come live in the karoo, I would be a farmer if I ever get bored of coding.

I will send a feeler out to some of my acquaintances, maybe some of them have time available.

This part "I must be able to edit text and add content myself once the site is live." is why I cannot commit, it would require a WordPress or similar based approach and I am not in the space anymore, bespoke billing systems and fintech is where my time is now.

Maybe @Hamster still knows some WordPress Devs

Judging by the forum, talent is not in short supply here.
