Weight loss challange!

Take it easy the 1st few weeks, you gonna hurt something.

Yeh - I am taking it reasonably easy - starting off slow till warm, then cranking up the difficulty... strangely, I haven't been stiff once, except for shin splints - no real pain.

I actually want to have my feet checked out, so they can tell me what shoes to wear - apparently it makes a HUGE difference.
 
I've decided to swap the 2km jog for another 10km cycle - my lower legs were in such pain last night I almost cried - literally.

not sure whats up with that... 2km isn't exacty far.

Weighed myself this morning - down 3 kilograms from Monday, and 1.5 kilograms from starting.

Can't stand the P90x diet though - I've never eaten so much - I actually get nausius at breakfast, lunch and dinner :(

The diet confuses me though, if you look at the "FULL NUTRITIONAL GUIDE", "PHASE 1", "LEVEL 3", "STEAK AND SOMETHING SALAD", pg. 56 in Adobe - it says "Serves 4" - but in the bottom right corner it says 10 ounces is your 3 protien servings - so am I supposed to eat the full "Serves 4" menu? All other salads says "Serves 1" with 10 ounces... go figure.

P.S. Sorry I haven't gotten round to picking up the other DVD :p weeks been busy.

TBH, I've never personally used the P90X system (too lazy :p). I think perhaps you should try and get some other diet and do the P90X exercises.

the diet seems to be pretty good, adding things that I eat as per the diet here - http://caloriecount.about.com

And it comes in at 2600-2800 calories a day, which is also what the website above recommends...

The past three days summarizes as follows:
Fat - 24.3% (235 grams)
Protein - 51.5% (1,124 grams)
Carbohydrates - 24.2% (529 grams)
Alcohol - 0%
Other - 0%

Daily Calorie Intake - 2,904 cals
Daily Sodium Intake - 6,438 mg
Daily Sugar Intake - 66 grams
Daily Cholesterol Intake - 563 mg
Daily Saturated Fat Intake - 19 grams
Daily Fiber Intake - 32 grams
 
As long as it works for you, then it's cool :) I'm thinking of going on a diet myself. These mid 20's tends to make one grow rather horizontally :erm: :p

Yeh - I grew a whole 8" horizontally :p

It seems to be working - been monitoring it closely cause its a ton of food.... I'll probably on know in about two weeks time.
 
Down 1.8kg since last week Monday and 0.4kg since starting.

109 km of cardio last week - this will be my last week of just cardio, then I'm hitting the weights.

I also hoping to drop a kg or so by next week Monday - then I'll know if the diet is working... probably would have lost a bit more, but Saturday I ended up drinking a case of amstel, I blame the race track - and rugby - and boys night - so wasn't interested in the diet on Saturday night, or Sunday :(
 
Unwanted side affect - bordering on 10kg weight loss - but I've noticed STRETCH marks.... I don't want to sound like a girl - but how the $%^%$^$% do I get rid of them.
 
go to clicks and ask for those creams / oils... pregnant women use them or women who were pregnant and are now struggling to get back into shape
 
Tissue oil? Thought about that... girlfriends going to think I'm gay :p

It rubs the lotion on its skin....

you need to get bio oil - does wonders for stretch marks
had the same issue when lost 10kgs - it works well
