Weight Loss Thread 2014

Thanks copa.
Quick question what do your guys on LCHF normally eat for lunch? Im smashing eggs for breakfast and as a snack when I get hungry but I cant eat nothing but eggs forever!
Dinner is quite a bit easier for me and I have a bunch of good recipes lined up for that.
Im stuck in the mindset of just eating eggs, maybe a salad and possibly some meats.

Thanks copa.

I mainly get a chicken leg quarter from Spar or Woolworths. Eat it with the skin and it lasts me until dinner.

Or I take make an extra steak for dinner and pack it for lunch with a nice creamy sauce. 30secs in the micro and it is good to go

Well I do coffee and juice for brekkie so when lunch comes around I have like a boiled egg, some cheese, chopped tomato, half an avo and whatever meat is at hand - a sausage or two or some bacon or a leftover chicken breast which I reheat in butter with a bit of curry powder, etc etc.

I have to admit, I melt at the creaminess of full-fat yogurt.

It's an indulgence that we're told to resist. And I try to abide. (Stealing a bite of my daughter's YoBaby doesn't count, does it?)

The reason we're told to limit dairy fat seems pretty straightforward. The extra calories packed into the fat are bad for our waistlines — that's the assumption.

But what if dairy fat isn't the dietary demon we've been led to believe it is? New research suggests we may want to look anew.

Consider the findings of two recent studies that conclude the consumption of whole-fat dairy is linked to reduced body fat.

In one , published by Swedish researchers in the Scandinavian Journal of Primary Health Care, middle-aged men who consumed high-fat milk, butter and cream were significantly less likely to become obese over a period of 12 years compared with men who never or rarely ate high-fat dairy.

Yep, that's right. The butter and whole-milk eaters did better at keeping the pounds off.

Tinned tuna or mackeral (in brine not vegatable oil) and heaps of salad dowsed in olive oil, with some chopped parsely and black pepper.

I have around 800g of Lindt in my possession :o
Need to get rid of it asap

I'm trying to loose some weight and I'm eating very strictly and exercise at least 4 times a week for about 5weeks now, but i'm getting bad cravings and struggling to find an alternative drink, that doesn't have lots of sugars or sodium that is actually healthy? I'm not talking alcohol, just a good flavored drink like a fuzzy drink. I'm fine with water and I drink atleast 2.5l a day and I'm getting cravings just to go buy a 500ml Coke and down it, but flushing a weeks hard work down the drain doesn't make it worth it.
What are you guys drinking? Is Appeltizer good? Any suggestions?

Are you taking cheat days often? Chances are that the cravings are going away slowly, then cheat days are bringing the cravings back into focus.

Well I must say after living on pure meat for two weeks now and lost 8kg I am feeling a lot better.

However this constant headache mind you my sweating and mood swings have subsided.

From this week going to introduce low carb fruit and vegetables into the diet. If I see another piece of chicken I will lay an egg.
