It's got sweetners in it, isn't allowed as still spikes insulin and I hate the taste of any sweetners.

While an excess of alcohol sugars can cause gastrointestinal distress (e.g., if you overdo it on these you can get diarrhea), in most people they do not cause secretion of insulin from the pancreas due to their distinct chemical structure (see figure of their structures, above).
Haha I'm on sub 30g a day... So for me it's a fail, dunno what you're aim is. Unless you're being humorous I'm not entirely sure?

Yeah losing 8.5kg in under 3 weeks was such a fail so far.
PS low carb diets can range from 20 gr to 100 gr a day.
At the end of the day it's what works for one.

Oh you weren't being humorous you were being a dick, noted... I agree hence stating I don't know what your aim is. Good for you on the no drinking however I'm not giving up anything I derive pleasure from unless I really have to, food is food I don't care what I eat but until they come up with a carb free beer then that's my cheat.

But its true though, not everyone follows the same approach and different things work for different people. And some are after super low body fat, others are looking to just fit into their old clothes or to have a bit more energy. My mom and I are eating the exact same foods and she is struggling with her tummy while mine is perfectSo obviously something isn't working for her. She is maintaining a weight which she is happy with, but her body obviously isn't happy.

Did anyone have problems losing weight initially when banting?
Reason I ask is my mother in law started on Monday and she has lost half a kilo where I have lost 4 and I have been doing it one day longer than her.
Could it be that she isnt getting enough fats? or does she need to wait until she gets into ketosis before she really starts seeing any numbers?
