Any suggestions? And is there such a thing as low carb milk, or is that just cream?

It's got sweetners in it, isn't allowed as still spikes insulin and I hate the taste of any sweetners.

It's got sweetners in it, isn't allowed as still spikes insulin and I hate the taste of any sweetners.

Haha I'm on sub 30g a day... So for me it's a fail, dunno what you're aim is. Unless you're being humorous I'm not entirely sure?

Yeah losing 8.5kg in under 3 weeks was such a fail so far.
PS low carb diets can range from 20 gr to 100 gr a day.

At the end of the day it's what works for one.

PS I haven't had a drink in weeks

Dinner tonight: Fillet steak pan fried in copious amounts of butter with veggies in a cream cheese, butter and cheddar sauce. :D

Oh you weren't being humorous you were being a dick, noted... I agree hence stating I don't know what your aim is. Good for you on the no drinking however I'm not giving up anything I derive pleasure from unless I really have to, food is food I don't care what I eat but until they come up with a carb free beer then that's my cheat.

Those woolies waters really aren't bad, the only one that I can't stand is the apple flavor which really had that sweetener after taste

The idea behind the thread is to support each other in losing weight irrespective of how people achieve it.

Not everyone chooses to follow LCHF to the T and some people aren't even following an LCHF approach.

If you wish to guide someone with some facts and science then great, but let's keep it civil.

But its true though, not everyone follows the same approach and different things work for different people. And some are after super low body fat, others are looking to just fit into their old clothes or to have a bit more energy. My mom and I are eating the exact same foods and she is struggling with her tummy while mine is perfect :D So obviously something isn't working for her. She is maintaining a weight which she is happy with, but her body obviously isn't happy.

When I really need something else I hit a glass of sprite zero. It has no weird aftertaste (I cant do sweetners either) and Attia says its fine so I trust him.

Reason I ask is my mother in law started on Monday and she has lost half a kilo where I have lost 4 and I have been doing it one day longer than her.
Could it be that she isnt getting enough fats? or does she need to wait until she gets into ketosis before she really starts seeing any numbers?

Keto didn't work for me. I lost a kg in the first week and nothing else for the next six weeks. I don't think it will work for every female. I had more success with Paleo.

she needs to give it time, everyone is unique and there are so many different influencing factors

I have to keep reminding some people that fat loss is a marathon, not a 100m dash
