There are a lot of fresh produce markets here, and I've contacted every supplier of organic goods here, and not one person can find grass fed butter. And the "grassfed" butter I have "found" - turned out to actually be grain fed when I contacted the farm directly...

Hey Guys,

OK I have gone through the real meal revolution book and understand now why Banting works, just need a few more tips on how to do it properly :)

1 - Would this be ok for a day, will just mix it up each day with recipes, ideas from the book and such:
Breakfast - Coffee with full fat mailk, no sugar. Scrambled/fried eggs (Friend in unsalted butter), couple strips of bacon done the same way, Either a piece of fried tomato or some fried mushrooms.
Lunch - 1 or 2 pieces fried chicken, half an avo (With lemon and ground pepper) and some onion.
Supper - Pork Chop, Brocolli and cauliflower all covered in a cheese sauce (Full cream, cheddar cheese)

With regards to the above, can I go Breakfast at say 7am, than a protein shake with creatine in at 11, Lunch at 13:00 than another shake at 16:00 with creatine in. Want to lose weight but also want to mantain my current muscle. Will be gymming 5 days a week.

If you want to maintain your muscle then you're going to need an extra boost of protein compared to someone with a more sedentary lifestyle. I'd suggest logging into MyFitnessPal and monitoring your intake. There's a couple of Keto calculators you can use to determine how much protein you should be getting per day. As OMB and mister suggest, you can just as easily get that protein from meat, but I know when I wanted to maintain my protein levels while gymming it was sometimes just easier to mix some water, cream and whey after a workout.

Today is day 1 of Banting :)

Breakfast was good, but have to ask, I didn't use kerrygold butter and it might not be grass fed, is this completely nullifying everything else?

Also how many cups of coffee is "safe" a day? No sugar, just coffee, milk and water.

Milk is higher in carbs. Have cream.

No - you will be 100% as long as you avoid margarine. Give yourself 2 weeks and you will notice an amazing difference with your belt and clothes!

Yeah mister, and no idea how. lost 8, gained 11 :D

Even now I am fatter than when I started my last diet. Although I'll push this week and try get 2 down. How are you going? Any six pack yet?

Brilliant :) Will buy Kerrygold when this butter finishes, just have no idea where to buy it.

So is there a limit on the amount of coffee I should be drinking? (Will bring cream instead of milk to work tomorrow)

haha my massive gainz at least took me 6 months...
SO needs to seriously go sugar free now so things should get better. Hopefully.
 
I havn't been picking up weight, but I feel like I would be losing weight a lot quicker if I was not eating this bread, chocolates and chips now and then. I am on 84Kg at the moment. @DrewChan could you update mine to 84Kg?? Don't want to send a PM so early in the morning :D
