I hope it's not too late to join, the more the merrier right? But now you done gone and insulted Drew :D

been learning more and more recently, the interwebs is a terrible place to get advice on diet and exercising.

Ok the healthy eating plans are generally fairly consistent, but you cant say the same for exercising.

Some say, do mainly strength/resistance training
some say, do HIIT
some say, so moderate intensity for longer periods
some say, do cardio and strength
some say, blah blah blah.

wtf are you supposed to believe?

do some research and PICK SOMETHING! Anything to get you started. You can refine your choices as you learn what works best for your body, and for your lifestyle.

For me I prefer HIIT (once a week only), intermittent fasting, and strength training.

You really don't have to go overboard. Small changes over a long timeframe will really make the difference. But you really need to think in terms of a lifestyle change, or you will just go back to doing what you've always done :P

pfft, 72kg, there isnt an ounce of fat on you.

So is it still possible to get added, you need at least one fat person to join, everyone on your list so far is tiny.

im definitely not tiny. I have a lot of work to do to get back to the shape I am used to being in

LOL...and you can tell yourself that every day! :)

Doesn't sound like this is something urgent?

Drew's given us till December :)
One of the worst things you can do when trying to diet or make lifestyle changes is feel guilty when you cheat. You'll soon be telling yourself you can't do it and give up.So if you fall off the wagon, just tell yourself tomorrow's a new day and soldier on.

Yeah, got to agree... and remember, we're all watching you!!!

Gotta agree with D3nz here;

Never put yourself down regarding times of weakness - even negative reinforcement is reinforcement. Acknowledge that what you did was wrong and move on again with the original plan - there are going to be birthdays, parties, anniversaries. Its impossible to be good all the time.

Strive for most of the time :D

Also I will leave it up to other members if lived666 can come on board :D 3 +1s and I will add him to the front page.

Anyways on a more serious note. I know a lot of you think I am so light and what's there to lose. Unfortunately I am what is known as skinny fat - skinny with large amount of fat around my waistline. Which makes me even more unhealthy than a normal fat guy. Hence the need to bust the gut.
