Weight loss

Anyways on a more serious note. I know a lot of you think I am so light and what's there to lose. Unfortunately I am what is known as skinny fat - skinny with large amount of fat around my waistline. Which makes me even more unhealthy than a normal fat guy. Hence the need to bust the gut.

same as me...

Only way to get out of skinny fat is large amounts of weight lifting - I guess lived comes on board - last person as its already 4 days past start point. Stats please lived,

I am using a combo of weight training and treadmill atm. It worked for me before. Lost 13 kg's in around 8 months. Managed to put back 8 on thanks to my weakness for Simba chips

Skinny fat looks terrible because its caused by lack of muscle.

One can be a "relatively" low BF% yet still look saggy everywhere because theyre basically a fatty skeleton, even if you lose weight you'll literally look like a smaller fatty skeleton.

The [current] aesthetics of a body are largely formed by the sculpting of skin over muscle.

That makes sense. I know when I dropped from 58 to 45 you would have thought I would look totally skinny. But I didn't. I went looking from the skinny fat in those pics - but way worse around the waist - to athletic skinny - but not as good as that pic.

Now my goal is athletic skinny but maybe some more muscle to look a bit more like that pic.

Just had my midmorning snack of some yoghurt now, normally i have it earlier and it made me think.

Are you supposed to feed yourself, when you are not hungry? Sometimes i get so busy i dont really feel hungry, but will that inturn cause a dip in your sugar levels and the relating spike of insulin?

I remember speaking to a dietician a while back and she said you must only eat when you are proper hungry. She said that sometimes your body can distinguish betweem being hungry or thisrty. So what she recommended was having a glass of water when you start to feel hungry, if after a lil while you are still hungry, then you should have something to eat.

She also pointed out that eating more, smaller meals will keep your metabolism burning consistently but technically is the same as have fewer larger meals, in terms of calories consumed.

Any thoughts?

I find that eating only when I'm hungry works for me. But I don't wait until I'm starving.

Although peanut butter is very nutritional, very few people actually realise the damage they do to them selves by following these diets. Just eat good food lots of fruits and veggies and have a mild exercise plan and you'll be sorted

I'm cheating by eating this.
It was an emergency.

I'll be shadowing this seeing as entries are closed.
Current: 99.5KG
Height: 176cm
Goal: 80KG

Lets see if I can do this. Been meaning to seriously shed some of the fat for a while so perhaps reporting back here will help me do it.
