Weight loss

Had a QE1 burger at Stonehaven for lunch yesterday - minus the chips and roll, plus bacon, egg and cheese.

But I think the patty is full of bread. I feel like ****e today.

I'm very happy. My body fat percentage just keeps on going down, and my weight is stable. Couldn't ask for a better result :D

From 17% at the start to 13.1% today.

Currently sitting at 17%. Hoping to get under 15% in the next few weeks.

Talking about BF% I might as well throw away my scale, I conducted a test, I held my 20kg dumbells and stepped on my scale to measure bodyfat, theoretically my bodyfat shouldnt have moved (As the scale is meant to calculate it depending on electrical resistance of the different tissues) but BF shot up to over 30%.

Piece of crap

What do you use to measure mister?

LOL! Of course the thing isn't going to measure properly if you pick up weights! They use bioelectrical impedance and formulas, which don't include holding a hunk of iron! I use a Omron Full Body Sensor, the one with the hand held, and foot sensors. It was the most accurate one I could find.

I also don't think it's entirely accurate, and of course they fluctuate depending on how much water you are holding, but as long as it's moving in the right direction I'm happy.

The weight training is coming along great so that's really helped. That's why I had to adjust my goal weight as well. I have around 4 pounds around my waist that needs to go and then I will be in a happy place :D

Yeah the weight training is absolutely key for us skinnies. On the plus side, it's actually EASIER to gain muscle while you still hold fat, so really focus on gaining muscle, and let the boep take care of itself. We just have to be patient :)

Maybe the omron range are better :P

my point is why did it lump all the steel into fat :D, my photographic evidence (abs are coming out and getting transverse abdomonis) shows I have lost fat, yet "BF" reading hasn't changed since I started.

Think I need some calipres

I don't think their formulas account for lumps of steel. I'll try the same experiment later and let you know. What is your bf reading according to the scale?

I have no visible abs yet.

Scale shows 21%, top 2 abs visible, second 2 slightly raised, bottom still invisible. still have some of dem love handles
