You need to maintain the input energy levels somehow. The only way to do this is from fat intake or straight sugar. Seeing as sugar is destructive to the insulin balance of the body, fat is recommended. So we can agree that achieving a healthy state of ketosis requires the consumption of fat?
Can we then agree that there will be a balance, or ratio, at which point optimum levels of ketosis are reached?
