Weight loss

Colofac? I use that for IBS.
You just take it for general colon health?

No for IBS as well. But my colon has been strange... Kind of feels like its in a spasm and swells up almost. I thought the colofac will help for that. Taking librax too but not sure what its supposed to be doing :D I feel no real difference...

Started my day with eggs n cheese n coffee now I don't feel like working.

Packed in some biltong and nuts to counter that damn headache.

Gym was good yesterday, I was asleep by 9p.m.

My IBS has all but stopped in the last few years.
In the beginning it was related to red meat which I proceeded to stop eating for 7 years.
But since I've started eating meat again it hasn't been an issue.
I actually have no idea what causes it now.
Sometimes if I drink juice to fast I can get it.

Me too :D
With.... Wait for it..... Milk :erm: :erm:
I used easygest and warmed it up and it didn't taste too bad....

Well done. Seriously. Confronting your issues and beating them, bit by bit. Awesome :)

Ja that's the problem - not knowing what causes it. I try and just avoid things that give me a stomach ache or headache but it doesn't always work. Apparently there's a kind of food allergy / sensitivity test you can do that can help identify the culprits but it costs a few thousand rand and its not to say it will work. Someone just told me they had very bad IBS and after they did the test and cut out some things they have never been sick again.

My wife has horrendous IBS. It seems to be triggered by:

Acidic wine or wine with suphites
Gluten
cooked veggies (including cauliflower)
stress
eating too much of anything.

It all got a LOT worse after she went on a course of prozac :( I think that **** did damage

Ja stress is the biggest bugger because its so difficult to manage or control :(
Alcohol and fizzy cooldrink is a huge no no but I handle cooked veggies better than raw ones... So its just something I think one has to experiment with. But that stress....

Any ideas on how to keep motivational levels up - I feel like people are dropping out

Very hard... motivation comes from within really.

I'm struggling but determined to get back on track this week.

Haha if we were all in the same area that'd actually be pretty awesome...

I'm still very motivated but can't help but see this thread slowing down -

Some people will come and go. Most don't have the will power to stick to something, or they arent at the right point in life to be committed to this.

My resolve is suffering because I'm not seeing progress, the headaches and nausea ain't helping too. I'm fighting that little voice in my head that's telling me all this is futile.

It would hey? We can have crudites and still water and sosaties :D

The thread slowed down since the creation of the weight loss tracker thread and the keto recipes thread imo...

Oh well - I and a select few will keep it alive till the last day - I am hoping we get some good "before and afters" :D

Shouldn't you maybe change what you're doing?

My motivation started this weekend :D And I plan on sticking to my program through December.
Even considering taking my running shoes with when I go to CT for some vacation fun :D
