Weight loss

Well mine was a pretty tall order - losing 11% BF means 8-9kgs of pure fat loss. 2 month progess photo in a few days - taking 1 pic each month that passes

pfft, you light weights have it hard- weigh in this morning shows just over 10kg down since the start here but will wait for monday for latest stats but its under 118 for now :)

Hahah well done - it'll slow down tremendously when you hit the teens BF% wise :D

Good going :) Keep it up - or down. Whichever :p

It should be so easy, right? We're doing everything right and it's so hard to lose 5 freaking kilos

Ain't that the truth. In terms of fat I'm pretty sure I've got under 2kg to go but damn it's just taking forever compared to the previous 10 or 12 or however many it was. I can still see the changes happening but each day it seems a little less... which I guess makes sense, the less there is to shed the less difference you'll see right. I'm at about the lowest BF I've ever been at so it feels like I'm digging into fat that's been part of me for years and years - solidly packed in deep storage.

It's okay, it'll take as long as it takes, my target is empiric not time- or weight-based. Main target... recovery of belly button. I used to have an innie which became a gonnie after it went MIA in the rolls some years ago. My ex used to enjoy poking a finger in there for some reason, I found that slightly gross and quite uncomfortable but I figured if she was happy why do anything about it. Anyway, it's almost back to normal now, but of course the thickest part of belly fat is... well, the belly :p

hahaha that made me laugh! Not your fat - just the way its written :)

I'm also at the attempt at belly loss stage...

Oh and btw it took me about a year to lose 10kg.. Thought I have another 3 to go but thinking of changing that to 5...

Right! How do I get that image of your belly button out of my mind? :p:D

I wanna see pics of chicken boo

Remember... careful what you wish for...
Taken about a month ago, no big change since. Sorry it is rather assy in quality, but that's as good as it gets. I'm not a pics kinda guy. (Perhaps I should also say, I'm a retro-tech cell phone guy.)
oh and yes I know, healthy coat :D It's unfortunate the poor lighting has hidden my farmer's tan, that's pretty good too.
I'm kinda kicking myself for having not taken some pics at the beginning of the year when I was looking 6 months preggers but yeah they would not have been pretty. Even less so than this! :D

You can imagine mine if you like. It's hairy and gathers lint...

Gathers? Mine is like a magnetic combine harvester and the lint is iron wheat...

er hope I'm not the first one to put a pic in here..

I am reaching close to where Chicken Boo is right now. Just need that belly fat to be gone.

Think I am a lot more toned though :p

Nee fock. I am too shy for that :o

I have some before pics... if my after pics are good enough then I will send them to you at comps end :D

Shy? SHY???? Who the hell are you and what have you done with Shaun?

Chicken - your body fat already looks pretty low.... are you lifting weights?

I ditched weight training completely earlier this year in favour of bodyweight training. However I began doing a weighted exercise (Turkish get-ups) a few weeks ago, but since I'm still learning the move it's very light weight. Bodyweight training is the biz. Anywhere, any time you feel like cranking out a set of something you can just do it. And the sense of freedom is, I dunno, not something I found from training with weights. I highly recommend BW training :)

If you're asking whether I'm lifting as part of a fat loss program, I should say I do cycle to work (10km each way, big hill plonk in the middle). You might think this makes fat loss a piece of cake (hmm) but it's not so simple - riding with no/low energy is no fun and finding a balance between getting enough energy to manage riding every day and still losing fat is a fine line.
