Hi

Found that there's an extremely weird (and annoying) issue on Ubuntu 11.04 (Unity).

When (using both Firefox and Chromium) I move the mouse from the top of the screen to the bottom of the screen (around the last 1/6th of the screen), then I can't use the scroll button to scroll up or down, or click on any linkies.

I have to move the mouse up a bit, then use the scroll button to scroll the screen upwards so that the link at the bottom of the screen is now more than 1/6th (or halfway) up the screen before I can click it.

Sometimes it works without any issues, other times it'll be back. Totally random.

What gives here?

Regards

Libs

have you reported the bug yet on launchpad. Its still early days, so there will be issues that need to be ironed out

I had exactly the same issue - it was fixed after I updated...

Seems to be a problem with the Unity desktop. I get a similar thing in some windows. It's like the window is off-set and I have to click below the focus point. I just minimize and maximize the window, that usually fixes it.

I do not think it has something to do Ubuntu in particular since I ran into this problem on Arch Linux as well. Are you using nVidia gfx card by any chance?

I only have this on Firefox in Arch IIRC, will test on Opera and Chromium in a bit.

I tried it with Chromium - same issue.

I suspend every now and then - its a laptop.
confirmed when the issue occurs, it can be replicated with both my wireless mouse and built-in touchpad.
