Welcome D-Link to the forums

I apologise for any inconvenience, we are currently updating our website.

I was told this months ago... maybe even a year ago by now. I'm sure the website has little-to-nothing to do with you guys but its such a weakness and always has been.

The excuse back then was that it has to come from head office and/or they all have to be the same, etc.

welcome guys.... always been very impressed with d-link products :)

Nice one
Love your new wireless n adsl router btw. 2570? 2750? Ya, I think the second one. Some great features on there.

Where is a link to their thread?

Welcome D-link

First questions: I am still happy with my DSL-2500U but .... any good promotions on upgrades? Are there anything better and faster that would give us better ADSL performance on our existing copper?

Hi Wily Me,

The DSL-2500U is the normal 1 port router. If you are looking for something with few more features, have a look at the DSL-2750U. You can find the datasheets of all our products on ftp://ftp.d-link.co.za. To answer your questions, all of our routers was certified to run up to 24mb lines, so it would depend on your line speed to get the best out of the little router.

I hope they are more responsive than the response one gets when emailing them, which is close to zero. Oh and btw, it would be nice if your web site works and actually has the latest firmware, rather than having to go to a Russian site to get the latest.

We are working on the website (through HQ ) That is one reason why the website is taking so long. Email support is one of our top priorities so that will be in tip-top shape from now on. Please send you query directly to me when you have time. To download all D-link related document, firmware's etc. please visit our local FTP site. ftp://ftp.d-link.co.za.

Damn you green-hydra, you beat me to the punch. Should I read the thread backwards?. I'm at least happy to see that you are taking care of things.
