This is not the only example of the anti-white messages that abound everyday.
There are anti-white messages from the government and general society on a regular basis.
The message is very clear that whites are not welcome in this country.
Where have you been all along!!!
South Africa is for all South African's.
However, if you were an informed individual you would remember that one of mandela's first speeches was about reconciliation and living together as one. The whole TRC process (I know it did not achieve as much success as it could have) was meant to be a sort of "let's bury the hatchet and move on". He hired Zelda la grange his PA as a show of the new South Africa.
Mbeki constantly meets with Afrikaner interest groups (and constantly acknowledges that chane will be difficult for afrikaners - 2000 address to chamber of mines as an example), but never meets with Zulu (whose minor sections feel marginalised), sotho, tswana, venda etc
It is clear that both leaders have tried to offer an olive branch which has been accepted by most, but, declined by some.
Please do not post anything about crime against whites as asign that they are unwanted as my previous posts will highlight that crime is not an exclusive white problem.
Thank you electra for agreeing with me. I personally believe that for this country to go forward we have to ignore to reactionaries on both sides and find solutions as black and white, for problems that are besieging us.
My two neighbours on either side are afrikaners. They have vastly different approaches to life in general. One is a staunch racist who raised his wall when i moved in, teased my dogs and some of my black friends, frowned at my white friends etc whilst the other is a nice family man who welcomed us and allows his children to greet and interact with us.
What we did as a response to the crime problem was to form a pact which involved exchanging numbers, looking after each others house when on holiday etc. We both realised that there was a problem and we have to stand together and fight it.
Surprise, surprise, after seeing our interaction and maybe the fact that I did not do anything to unsettle them such as loud parties, domestic squables, unkempt garden, the racist mullet guy two weeks back offered to take away my rubbish (municipality on strike). It was a course for celebration at my house for sure. I still feel good when I think about that gesture.
The moral is that there are racist people there (let's not be on denial)and its true the government is not doing everything as it should, but instead of moaning and apportioning blame lets all try to do something about crime etc and may be, may be we might make some new friends out there. You never know!!!!!!!!!!
I guess if you cannot do something but moan, the running option is still open for some!!!!
