Can augmented reality be used for more than video games and overlaying geotagged data?

I've got an AR Drone.

Pretty cool to use, but gets boring quite quickly ;(

With the nintendo 3DS you can put boobs on anything and everyone... I believe this to be the pinnacle of AR.
