Hi guys,
Hope there someone that can help with what seems to be a very strange occurance of disturbance on the 2.4ghz spectrum. For some reason these occurances are time specific and inteference is not constant in terms of "one after the other" but more constant in terms of every 1min or so.
Ok so more details on the problem. Our form of communication like any other user is ts but from about 7pm it is almost impossible to use because after this time, the pings to the server go very chaotic every 15 pings or so ( and i mean chaotic as in going from a 20ms ping to 3000+ms ). These high pings lasts for about 5 or so pings then dips back down to normal, then 15 pings later it comes back and so the constant, time specific interferrance occurs.
We a bit stuck with what the problem can be, frequency scans shows that some of the channels we use have about a 5-10% usage but when this disturbance occurs all channel usages jump up to about 70-75% usage and later dies down until it comes back.
Any ideas of what the probelm can be and why it happens after this time and if anyone else in the southerns can confirm this occurance? Also can viruses infect routers which in turn can cause the router to become unstable?
Thanks alot,
