Lol, the Atos is the company's vehicle. I bought it to replace the old company vehicle I sold. I didn't buy it for her. Its a hell of a lot better than the POS she drives anyway.

I hired her, or rather we hired her (since my wife and I are = partners), because we needed a rep and she is a good one when she wants to be.

She sure is pushing my buttons tho. I'm gonna have to have a sit down with her again today. It aint going to be nice.

Take her to task about it. Tell her the car's tracker is working, and you want to know where she has been. If she says its a client, ask her to take you with to the client.

You have to get tough with people like this. She is doing what she is doing because she thinks she can get away with it and that there will be no consequences. Make her realize that there will be consequences and things will change.

The problem is that she doesnt respect you - you have been too nice to her (all woman seem to resent being treated nicely!).

Whether she likes the Atos is not an issue. And I highly doubt any clients would care about it.

Of course you judge a business by its location, how the offices looks, the cars, how the rep looks and dresses, its nothing to do with shallow....its how a business represents itself.

Naa, my wife and I are in agreement. Actually I'm the one reigning my wife in. My wife wants to fire her. I suppose the R140k odd extra profit per year would make the business more attractive, but DAMN.

Naa, thats not it. Imagine a golf with mismatched panels, missing door handles, a crumpled bonnet because it flew up because the latch came loose, a cracked windscreen ect.. that's the car she wants to drive to see customers.

She used to drive her own car to see customers ( a different car, not this POS) , but her fuel usage was unacceptable. She was doing more than 20l to the 100km. She said it was because some or other fuel thing was broken on her car, I told her it was because she was giving my fuel to her family. Anyway I gave her a month to "repair" her car and when she did not I took away her fuel allowance and gave her a company car to use. And I increased her basic by R1000 per month to cover her fuel to and from work.

When she was complaining that the other company car was unsafe, she was angling for me to let her use her POS and pay her petrol again. I told her she would have to find another car if that where to happen cos she will not be seeing my customers in that (yes I'll say it again) POS. She was all affronted saying "so my car isnt good enough for you". I just pointed at it and said "LOOK at it."

So yea, having a car with power windows and steering, aircon and (gasp) a working radio is way more that she is used to.
