What do you do during load shedding?

NOT a Dude so do not call me DUDE!

Cannot step foot outside my front door without shoes because of the ^&*! duiweltjies and half the time the dogs bring them in and leave them on the carpet so can't go barefoot inside either. Nothing outside but dirt and dust and more dirt and dust. No joy in living here at all. Came from green to this hellhole.
We are all dudes on this blessed day.

Sjoe dude
I camp every weekend and also hike mountains on weekends.
You're more than welcome to join me down here in the Cape to express your frustrations walking Cape Point kicking Shipwrecks or even up on Table Mountain headbutting boulders, the Cable Car going back down is super awesome I must add.
We all need to unplug weekly.
Chatted to a guy last week that said that his doctor on off days actually takes his shoes off and walks around the garden or on beaches or hiking trails. All barefoot, and the reason is the airwaves are dirty and static. He finds walking barefoot 'earths' you.
Yoh, this coming from a Doctor.
Call it crazy, I do.
...but then again maybe not  why do i feel so alive every weekend camping and hiking with no shoes? mmm

Actually, I read somewhere that walking barefoot on the ground has great therapeutic values. But on real earth/grass etc.

Where do you live now?
Also, are you a hot non - dude?

Go back..

You have no idea how much I wish I could. No idea. I have never in my life hating living somewhere as much as I hate living here and that includes the years in a tent. This was supposed to be a very positive move forward but it has been everything but. There has been not one positive thing about it. Not one!

I live in a house owned by family, so no, I can't just pack up and go.

There are insufficient swear words in all the languages in the world that ever were or are to express the depth of my hatred for the current round of loadshedding. I live in a *()(^&)& town I @#&*)#@* hate with a *)@#$&#@*( passion and this is just the @#$*()#@&* cherry on the top of a generally @#U*$()#@& miserable @#$*(#)@& time. I @W*()#@& hate it! My computer is the only @#$*()#& thing that keeps me sane and no power = no computer. Can't U@(#@ afford to anything about it. Used to live in such a small place that rarely had the power go off in the last round of shedding mostly because I think it was too much @#$*(#@&) hassle for anyone to switch it off. Now I live in this @#$&*()@#$&hole of a @#$*(#@) town that switches it off every single @#*$() day. And they can't even #&*()#@$&*( do it on @#$*&()# time!!!
Sheeze, dude?

Enjoy the freedom from electronics. Load shedding is only as bad as you allow it to be ffs.

There is so much you can do during that small window of no power....

It's all the DA's fault.....

Loadshedding.. pack all my electronics in my car and go to where the electricity is.. done that three times this week. Must keep working!

If we have load shedding, you know we've run out of all the energy on the grid, so whilst you guys have loadshedding, we carry on like nothing's happened.
