What do you name your computers?

My big black desktop with glowing blue is Voldemort. :p

My external hard drive is Wormtail.

Hehehe, my old work PC used to be Firebolt. But my work laptop is now called Dumbledore.
 
Whatever carp pops into my head at the time of installation is what I name my machines.
Desktop = ANDROMEDA (I'd been reading books about the Universe to the kids).
Notebook = work's naming std.
Server1 = I don't remember; it's a Linux box; I access it by IP.
Server2 = I don't remember; it's a Linux box; I access it by IP.
Media PC = GLAKKA (some k@k my son came up with at installation time.)
Wife's machine = CURVY (I was being suggestive at the time ;) )
Kids' machine = I'm not sure, but I *think* my creativity came up with "KIDS" :p

I once named a client's quad-CPU Corollary server "BEPOS" cos it was a Big, Expensive Piece Of Shyte.
I once named a file server "THESERVER" just so that I could tell staff to put their documents on the server :) Boss made me change it :(

Otherwise I name them after characters from Bleach ;)
 
oh..boy U guy's have these highly thought off names..my computer (bow my head in shame, yes I only have one) tends to buck out games and some more resource hungry apps (never ever bye an biostar 8600 gt just dont)..so its names range from f*cking idiot, to just allot of yelling(normally acompanied by the breaking of a keyboard, mouse etc)..but my computer name is just plain old my second name(just works better at LAN's you know)
 
infant-finite (Linux)
infant-windows (Windows)
En (short for entertainment Linux box)
gw (gateway)

Currently only infant-* is online. Others have been put in storage due to Eskom.

Hehe, thought it was just me. PC1 - Seraphim ... HDD - Nephilim. PC2 - TheFallen ... HDD - Daemon , HDD2 - ShadowHalo. Yeah they're dark so am I ;)
 
my pc just has some OEM name(with my name included) and a lot of no.'s

dont bothered with the name of my computer
 
MBP, ALPB, Mini, iBook, and finally PoS (that's the PC).
 
Main PC - Media-Server :)
Laptop - Stumbler
PDA - Irk
Cellphone - Providence
XBOX 360 - XBOX 360 :)
 
All my servers are named after cheeses (swisscheese, gouda, bluecheese).

Normal user PCs are named after the person who uses them
 
ok ok i know i was dissing folk for giving their comps names :(


my main one is called Megatron and the other one Optimus, im such a geek...
 
If I have my own computer one day (I don't own my own, never have) I'll call it Crush, cause Crush the Turtle from Finding Nemo is just sooooo riiiiiiggggghhtteeeeooouuussss!!! man! ;) :D :p
