What happened to 5FM

Yup, their playlist has gone down the drain. I miss the days of Alex Jay, Barney Simon, Uncle Paul's Bed Time Story, etc etc :(

I recently tuned into Smile904, which I enjoy, but their constant repeat of that bloody Matthew Mole made me lose interest. :sick:
 
I listen to NowTrending on TuneIn in the afternoons but they repeat songs a lot. Wish we could get the Radioleague app...

I never listened or liked Gareth's show but I wasn't expecting 5FM to implode into poor music choices and prank phone calls.

Also pretty much dumped 5FM and really enjoying KFM more these days...for the more "intellectual" listener...Ryan O'Connor is rather good...
 
Someone asked me yesterday what latest music I downloaded and I lolled. I don't. I am so out of date I don't know if any of my favorites have released any new albums in the last 4 years.

I ripped some shows of Barney circa 2004/5 and listen quite often at work.

Yeah not everyone is saying that...actually only a few. And I for one am glad...even though I don't even listen to 5FM, lol!

Kfm bores me to tears
Smile fm ok in small doses

We have 5fm on in the car. Turned down more often than not though. Mainly because of the things mentioned here. Infantile jokes and mindless noise.

Where do you get your intellectual stimulation from? Surely not the callers, they are thick as pig ****e. "Hello Redi how are you?" "I'm fine thanks, whats your comment?" "I'm fine thank you" :wtf:

And the hosts are no better. Redi? Seems to doze off when guests or callers are speaking.

John Robbie? Xolani? Jenny? Please.
