What is this light for (Corsa B)

Simple question, what's it for.

Pull the headlight switch, same with the heated rear windshield, pull the fan speed selector switch.

If it's anything like the Opel Kadett I had in the early 80's, I recall you had to pull out the lights switch?

Rumour has it if you pull that light out and plug it in upside down into it's slot your car can be started without it's key

not marked anywhere, and confusing as F***, drove one once and could never figure this out.

It can only go in one way. But if you have a vauxhall Nova and you remove the hazard switch and put it back upside down the ignition turns on, not a rumor but a fact.

so confusing, who designed this S**box control, I mean why?
did they do it as some kind of cruel joke to anybody who drove GM sh***box?

I mean surely when it was all planned and worked out, somebody put a lot of thought into where controls must go.
why did they hide switches in funny places like that?

I thought only Citroen did weird Sh** like that?
