What is wrong with men these days?

i’ve always been of the opinion that a woman shouldn’t tell me she used to have a crush on me. unless I am available and she hopes that the information will be used to progress something. Otherwise it is information that I may as well not know. It serves no purpose to me.

A little strange post, but he has a point miss Serqet.

It's of no value to a friendship if someone tells you they like you while you're with someone else. It only complicates matters and makes for an awkward vibe between the two.

... unless of course you're a girl and you need a "fall-back" guy (not to be read as rebound) in order to break up your current unhappy relationship.

The mind boggles...

Personally, I would like to know - regardless. At least then I know who not to be around when they're overly intoxicated and whatnot.
 
Well it's not always about hooking up with the person. Sometimes people just want to share things they have kept quiet about or bottled up until now. I don't think any harm was done by me telling you i had a crush on you as we had already discussed this some time ago. Did it alter our friendship? Or am i just being naive?

Nah you're right ... it all depends of the intention of the message.

We're still toight loik a toigher and I considered it a major compliment. However, if some chick were to say it to some guy in order to seduce him into leaving and/or cheating on his current GF - then it's definitely not cool.

Yours was sincere and without alternate agenda. *respect*

... or am I being naive? :p
