Goodness crisis, now that I think about it...

I've been given the "If I weren't with someone I'd date you in an instant" by:

1) Someone who reckons I'll make a great husband.
2) Someone who reckons I'll BE her husband in a few years. (while bf is standing next to us)
3) Someone who is being cheated on by her bf repeatedly...and is aware of it. (story for another day)
4-6) Older friends of mine who already have kids.

<Mitch Hedberg voice> This doesn't really say much for me, but it also really doesn't say a lot for these women. :p

In other words you're a really save and predictable(dependable ;) ) guy. So you'll do when they can no longer get the exciting and hot guys. :D

Hey I didn't mean it as an insult, its more a reflection on those who say it to him without persuing him. I've seen it with my friends a thousand times.

Well, considering that my last gf told me "I want to have some fun while I'm still young..." as an excuse for breaking up with me after her 1st year at varsity, I can see your point 100%.

In hindsight, she did me a favour.
 
As a very broad generalisation (seems to be the standard basis for commentary in this thread) I have to wonder whether the question shouldn't rather be:

What is right with men these days?
