True. If a girl wants to get laid *tonight* she *will* find a willing guy. The same can certainly not be said for guys.
So females think about sex all day long?
Well according to a study women think about sex every 7 or 8 minutes if i remember correctly. Men think about sex every 3 minutes.

Alright so i'm rather curious as to why men are no longer the hunters? Why am i asking this you wonder?
Example to follow:
Single friends and myself went out on a ladies night tonight and i can now see why single women complain about being single. We started out at Cofi (not a single man in sight, we tried QBa and the place was dead. We eventually landed up @ FTV. Okay great lots of single men! Yet not a single man approached my single friends and struck up a conversation. Do men just no longer do this or what?
I remember when i was single, men were the first ones to initiate a conversation. Nowadays the latter seems true. It seems women have to throw themselves at men if they want attention. What has happened to the world where the roles have so dramatically reversed?
Yup - quite sad.
A girl can walk into a place and arrane sex within minutes. A smile, a touch, a phrase and BAM.

As you get older your groups of friends become more and more isolated, whereas straight out of school you might have belonged indirectly to a greater community, increasing your chances of regularly running into familiar people, and so it follows..
Well I wouldn't want to be with that kind of person anyway, so they can go ahead and have all the fun they want for all I care.
It's a lame and antiquated notion. You want equality you get it, ..no picking and choosing.
It's demeaning to men, to expect us to be so horny and one-track minded that we have to clamor for your attention.
FTV!? You wouldn't do much better going to a gay club fyi.
This is such a highly subjective comment/opinion which relies almost exclusively on how you perceive your individual reality that is verges on the ridiculous. You should probably leave it for times when other such rubbish / gossip type subjects are related.
Also, it could simply be that you and your friends are just not that attractive, maybe you've put on weight or have gotten older.
This whole role reversal "phenomenon" is very much a media induced deception. If a guy really wants you enough then he will make the effort.
If not get off your lazy butt and do it yourself ya know, goll, what's with women and wanting to be slavishly admired and revered, it's pathetic and vain.

Okay so firstly just to set the record straight nobody was assuming that men were one track minded and horny. I just expected single men to want to chat to single women.
I realise in hindsight FTV was not the most appropriate place to expect to meet your future husband but i expected some conversation to flow since it's a social gathering after all.
As for the so called 'rubbish' thread. As with everything in life it's all a matter of personal opinion as everyone bases anything in life on their own perspective. I was generally curious as to what the dating rules were these days. If you find this gossip/rubbish then why bother to respond?
As for my friends having put on weight or gotten older, are there no men in the same predicament? So spare me the drivel.
In regards to your comment about getting off our lazy asses. My friends did make an effort to try and strike up conversations but the conversations never went anywhere so they gave up. I was not for one second saying we should sit there and have men falling at our feet. So delete that warped perception right now.
Not every woman is like that either.
