What is your monthly usage and ISP?

Our highest users use around 30-40TB per month
 
How much do i use? I don't know CISP doesn't let me know - not that i really care since my experience is truly uncapped i would assume household of 3 probably around 500GB per month.

Router is too potato to keep logs for 30 days too

i had to rethink what i was asking, apologies for being vague

If more than x of your client base is hitting 30TB/month - is it still viable / will it degrade network performance? So is X 50% / 10% ? And also as an ISP how would you scale to meet this demand?

It's not a clean cut answer as even though total data usage is high, throughput could be low over a prolonged period of time. I think averaged out you are looking at the 100G-1TB mark

If there are capacity issues it will affect every user one way or another, so it's something one must seriously avoid, so if we had thousands of said users we would simply need to charge more to purchase more capacity on various paths.

Internet is the same principle as an all you can eat buffet, for that one person who consumes 20 plates there will be 5 or 6 that consume 1-2 plates so evens out at the end of the day...

But if a ton of 20 platers come then suddenly there is little to no food available and everyone will have an issue accessing food at the buffet.. So as long as there is food everyone is gucci

I felt the need to share my analogy that just hit me :laugh:

On CISP

Swapped router out 9~ days ago - reporting 275GB for this machine , windows reporting 823.56GB last 30 days

x5 pc's and smart devices probably around 2-3TB a month. CISP been real good
 
On Axxess

OpenWRT reports 849.3GB at the moment.

About 10 devices constantly connected.

Always in the region of about 850GB - 1TB depending on what's happening. We mainly stream nowadays with the plethora of apps.
 
With Vodacom as infrastructure and ISP.

Usage is between 1.3 and 1.7 TB per month

Usually around 15 devices on the network at any given time. Usually connected to 5Ghz WiFi over the 2.4Ghz.

3 people working from home. Gaming and streaming. No analog TV.
 
Mweb via Vumatel

Anywhere from 3 to 6TB a month on a 100mb line.
 
Afrihost 40mbps Pure DSL running on Openserve Copper Network. Current usage standing at 4.5TB - I am getting average download speed of 4mbps - probably going to hit 6TB this month with streaming Netflix, Youtube and downloading...
 
800GB-1TB per month, 100Mbps on SADV network with MTS for now Single person
