Wtf is up with you eliteists/snobs out there. This is a discussion between me and someone else - Am I wrong? Should I apologize? (I am him in the below, she is her etc...)

Didn't read all of this - but agreed.

I have accounts at all other banks, but my bank of choice is Go Banking. My salary goes there, my debit orders go off there, interest is high, charges low etc

I have the 'real' banks accounts - I just don't use them often.

So in 20 minutes you killed off a friendship?
 
When your friend realises how much she is losing over the long term, she will get over the snobbiness. It may be too late by then.

Especially when every second bank is going bankrupt, if you had to be with a bank now, rather a big bank with lots of millionaires than a small bank with little people and higher risk of them not paying the bank.

firstly - that girl is really into you. You should ask her out.

secondly - low bank charges is one thing but how do you tell if a bank is stable or safe?

Don't you think a small bank with generaly low income clients might have better risk management? ;)
