We will have to wait for the think tank to come up with a solution. If I remember correctly you were against higher taxes, that's your right. However, violence/war/etc is going to cost you lots more - everything you have and potentially your life. You willing to give that all up?

If the choice is between fighting, and being made to pay more for the upkeep of my oppressors? Hmmm, tough choice. Not.

Absolutely, I mentioned that in this thread. Agreed, that is definitely an option for anyone who wishes to take it. I'm currently looking into that.

No, like I said, it seems unusual to prefer to rather risk everything including life for the option of violence. Of course, that is his decision.

Would it be more sensible to harp on about violence/war at every opportunity?

If the government finances my emigration costs down to the last cent I'll gladly pack up and move tomorrow. You can have africa...just don't ask other countries for further handouts when you can't sustain yourself. Oh wait, you just did. Biggest handout in the world bank's history.

I don't want to harp on about the tax idea. Anyone have any other ideas? So far we have violence/war. An option but I just don't see enough evidence to suggest that is feasible. Open to discussion but I would need major convincing. Then we have emigration. An option, not ideal, but an option nevertheless to keep in mind. Then withholding taxes. Also, an option, not sure tax payers can really operate as a unit on a mass scale, legality issues, but an option nevertheless. Any other options/ideas?

There was another suggestion ealier in the thread that if the gov wants us out they should make a deal with european countries to allow us in and pay our costs. Then they will have gotten rid of all the so called racists - more of an eviction than an immigration.
 
I love how when people lose on what is considered worldwide as a fair system, its time create havoc because its not working for you.. however, when the roles are reversed its seen as terrorism etc :p good luck with that

Yes, I felt that fell under the emigration umbrella. I haven't heard of any major European power inviting us nor have heard of the government evicting us.

Will check back later to see whether any new ideas have been put on the table. Remember, if you are not emigrating, if you are not going to war, then you have to admit you have been defeated by a superior opponent. Once you have admitted it, and if your are staying put then you might want to admit the country has a number of problems and it may be time to start looking at solutions.
