Asus motherboard
2.8 dual core intel cpu
4gig crosair ram
3 sata hhd
1 ide dvd drive

I'd try removing 1 stick of ram at a time.If that didn't work then try the single sticks in the other slot to try rule ram out
Or if you got onboard GFx to fall back on try removing the GFX card.
I'm not a PC tech...just what i'd do

first, did you install any new hardware or software? Does the BSOD occur every time? at what time intervals ie: after prolonged pc use or immediatly upon startup? also can you startup in safemode? BSOD can be caused by a multitude of things and just posting your specs wont always make it clearer for someone wanting to help. more info on the exact nature of the BSOD is required.

yeah doing clean install. atm vista gets stuck at expanding files 0% been 20min. seems its the ram will remove one stick see if it goes futher.

Only got the most basic connected atm.

Installed new motherboard and cpu all the other stuff worked 100% with my amd setup.

It was a while back and forgot to write it down. something to do with equal in the code

no slots are fine since postmanpot tested it before he send it to me.
mem test did not find errors the last time I ran it, ran 19 passes.

Seems to work now. Now just need to add my other hhd's and ram and see if it still works thanks for all the replay's, really helped.

I can confirm this.

Windows ran/installed fine with me. System as follows:

Asus P5QL-SE
E6300
1 x 2GB Transcend DDR2-800
Lite-On DVD R/W SATA
Seagate 80GB SATA
Cooler Master Thermalmaster PSU

Please keep us posted CrzWaco.

Okay just put in my other memory stick into the 2de slot on the motherboard, loaded default values in my bios and getting a Memory management bsod. So busy trouble shooting that to see if I can get it to work.

My ram voltage is set on auto, did set it to 1.87v but also gave the bsod.

Just got a pnf list corruption bsod.

Removing 1 stick of ram and trying it in different slots.

Okay both memory sticks work on there own in both slots.Only when I install them both do I get the bsod. So what now my memory is a kit, so works great in dual channel. I looked in the bios and nothing more about the ram.

Busy getting this update http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929777

Edit: well that did not help me.
